Based in San Francisco, Jason has been a leader in the convergence of media, advertising, and technology, since the first days of internet advertising.
Jason has spent the majority of his career developing solutions that drive positive and meaningful business outcomes for companies small and large. This experience uniquely encompasses senior management positions at agencies, publishers, and technology start-ups. Beginning his career by co-founding one of the first digital agencies (Freestyle Interactive) and then successfully selling it to Dentsu/Aegis, Jason went on to be Chief Revenue Officer at the world’s first demand-side platform (DSP) called [x+1], sold to RocketFuel in 2010. Afterward, Jason was an early employee and first monetization lead at Adap.tv, sold to Aol/Verizon for $495 million in 2014. Most recently, Jason led global revenue and operations for Firework, the world’s largest, open short video platform.
Throughout his 20-plus years in the media and technology industry, Jason has driven positive business outcomes for large multinational clients like General Motors, P&G, Warner Bros., Adidas & Microsoft. That said, Jason is also proud of the interesting and dynamic work he has done with smaller, nimbler brands like Uber, GoPro, the Bonnaroo Music Festival, Warby Parker & Peloton.
